The THINK Summer Institute is not just about a full-immersion academic experience. THINKers have a wonderful opportunity to attend many cultural events held in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area. Past outings have included:
Visiting Virginia City, Nevada.
Attending the Reno Celtic Festival.
Spending an evening at the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.
Enjoying a Reno Philharmonic concert under the Reno Arch - complete with fireworks.
Students also enjoy many on-campus activities, especially playing kickball in the Quad, spending quiet weekend afternoons playing games with their friends and enjoying an afternoon of fun on the shore of Lake Tahoe.
